History of the Cellar
"In agreement with his wife Alida, the textile entrepreneur from Northern Italy Alberto Gandolfi sold the family business in 2013 to seek a balanced relationship with nature through wine production. But a company is never truly an island. Working, Filodivino enters into relationships with other local entities: production companies with which to network to protect the environment and local economy, the short supply chain of suppliers of raw materials, artists and artisans, entire communities, in the belief that networking is essential to guarantee the right relationship between man and nature. Thus, the name Filodivino, born from the relationship of descent from a textile company, acquires new meanings: a thread runs from the Resort to the Cellar to the Kitchen to the Pool and the Spa, uniting them in the name of a simple and refined elegance; the same thread, then, goes beyond the border of Filodivino to enter into a relationship with other threads and thus compose a respectful and sustainable local fabric."
