Visit to the thousand-year-old Castelvecchi cellar followed by a tasting of the three types of Chianti Classico: Capotondo, Riserva Lodolaio and Gran Selezione Madonnino della Pieve concluding with our “supertuscan” Solana, in honor of the noble marquis Abelardo Gutierrez de la Solana; paired with extra virgin olive oil on Tuscan bread and a selection of pecorino cheeses and Tuscan cured meats.

High on the highest hills in the heart of Chianti Classico, the Premiata Fattoria di Castelvecchi, in Radda in Chianti, tells of centuries of tradition and a present of tenacious winemaking challenges. Here an ancient passion is cultivated, rediscovered in eleven precious crus, where old restored vineyards live and where rediscovered roots sink into the motherland of Tuscany. Here are obtained wines of great character, such as Capotondo, Lodolaio, Madonnino, Solana, awarded in Italy and in the world.
