History of the Cellar
"We are in the heart of the Piglio hills, an area of high and medium hills, districts and enchanting landscapes in the province of Frosinone, on the slopes of Mount Scalambra, facing the Tyrrhenian Sea... welcome to Ciociaria, in its historic area of vocation for the production of Cesanese del Piglio DOCG wines. In 2002, friends and families with ties to the local land came together to found “Pileum”. Over the years this company has grown using modern and technologically advanced facilities and producing ever elegant wines with the utmost respect for the ancient winemaking tradition of Cesanese in its territory of origin. An environment that offers inspiration and the certainty that great wines are born in the land: the synthesis of our history is here around us and in each of our wines. The philosophy is simple and rigorous: respect for the land, tradition and history."
