"The history of the La Contea winery is made up of agricultural and winemaking traditions of Sicily, A region characterised by its ideal characteristics for growing vines thanks to the Mediterranean climate, its proximity to the sea and the variety of soils, especially volcanic ones, which give distinctive characteristics to the wines. La Contea winery is known for its attention to quality and environmental sustainability. Production takes place using traditional methods, with attention to cultivation techniques and hand-picking. Over the years, the wines from this winery have received numerous national and international awards. Its products also represent the perfect balance between tradition and innovation."
