Furthermore, a tasting of oils, in particular flavored oils, also produced by us is available; finally, this is accompanied by a varied offer of typical products, such as sausages, dairy products, baked goods and more.
History of the Cellar
"The Domenico Russo winery is a family-run business that combines a passion for viticulture, respect for nature and the ambition to produce top quality wines. Founded in 1998 in the Ginosa countryside, near Taranto and just 22 km from Matera, this idyllic setting is blessed with moderate temperatures, hilly topography and proximity to the Ionian Sea. Greenery envelops the property, where olive trees and an organic espalier vineyard grow in perfect tranquility. The wines produced by the Domenico Russo winery are the pure Primitivo, the Primitivo del Salento PGI, the Primitivo Passito, the Malvasia Bianca, the Sangiovese di Puglia and the Spumante PGI Salento."
