Package Description
The tasting includes a visit to the cellar with explanations of the history and peculiarities that characterize it and the area. Once the vineyard/cellar tour is over, we sit down and begin the tasting with our wines and platters of local products.
The tasting can take place between the rows, under the gazebo raised above the vineyard or in one of the two barrel cellars (one in the cave and the other on the ground floor).
Included: 5 glasses of our wines with a large platter of cheeses, local cured meats and other traditional products
Once you're done, you can still stay and admire the landscape, no one will ask you to leave.
History of the Cellar
With over half a century of history, the Terre del Veio Agricultural Company, located in Rome, is an authentic jewel in the heart of the suggestive Veio Park. Its fascinating history has deep roots, having seen the light more than fifty years ago. Framed by the tuff rocks of the area, the company began as an ancient vineyard with an adjoining cellar. Nearby, are the “Roaring Lions,” one of the oldest Etruscan burial sites dating back to 700 BC. During the 2000s, Paolo David took the reins of the company with passion and dedication, leading Terre del Veio to high standards of excellence that distinguish it today.
