THE WINE TASTING AND BRUSCHETTE WITH THE ESTATE'S OWN EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL WILL BE HELD IN THE CELLAR.
THE TASTING INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING TYPES OF WINE:

∙ EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL TASTING
THE VISIT THEN CONCLUDES WITH A TOUR OF THE OLD CELLAR, WHERE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ADMIRE THE ESTATE'S OLD CAVES, AND FINALLY, UPON REQUEST AND AGREEMENT, AN OVERVIEW OF THE OLIVE OIL EXTRACTION PROCESS DIRECTLY AT THE ESTATE'S OIL MILL.

The Winery’s Story
Tenuta di Pietra Porzia’s history is closely connected first with the Roman Empire and later with the Papal States and their extensive properties in the Agro Romano. For millennia, Frascati was a sought-after retreat for the aristocracy because of its breezy climate and freedom from the malaria that made city life particularly dangerous in summer. The Frascati hills were divided among grand villas, some of which still survive. The Roman villa at Tenuta di Pietra Porzia was built on a high platform to avoid disturbing the remains of an earlier villa, which are still present.
