Wine experience of 3 glasses of typical wines and sparkling wines from the Oltrepò Pavese combined with delicious gastronomic tastings; for an experience to remember.
The tasting includes:
- 1 glass of Oltrepò Pavese DOCG Classic Method Pinot Nero Brut;
-1 glass of Oltrepò Pavese Riesling DOC;
-1 glass of Barbera Riserva aged in French oak tonneaux – 2017 selection;
The glasses are paired with platters of typical Oltrepò Pavese cured meats and cheeses from small local producers.
The Winery’s Story
One warm morning in July 2016, a Sunday, we visited our grandfather Guglielmo’s old farmhouse. Whenever we return to Montalto Pavese, where Mum and Dad live, we never miss the chance to go there and look through his belongings. It brings his life back to us: a life devoted to vines and grapes, which Guglielmo grew for the local wine cooperatives. Dad continues the same work, with dedication and love for this land, our land.
