There are 5 wines to choose from for tasting, depending on the guests' preferences.
A tasting plate will be served to accompany the meal.
The Winery’s Story
Tenuta La Marchesa in Novi Ligure, Alessandria, has more than 500 years of history and covers 76 hectares, including 58 hectares of connected vineyards, that have remained largely intact over time. Established in the mid-16th century as a property of the Marchesi Sauli, it passed in the 18th century to the Marchesi Corte, who enlarged the main villa, then in the 19th century to the Pavese silk merchants and later the Marchesi Raggio, becoming an important part of the Gavi area. Since 1970, it has belonged to the noble Giulini family of Milan, who restored the villa, now a national monument, and modernised the historic 16th-century cellar. Today, the estate is a well-known wine resort focused on short-supply-chain production of Gavi DOCG from Cortese grapes and the revival of historic Piedmont varieties such as Albarossa and Slarina, combining tradition with modern low-sulphite techniques.
