The Winery’s Story
The Chiorri family’s story began in the late 19th century on the farms of Sant’Enea, a few kilometres from central Perugia. Family-run for five generations and supported by highly qualified staff, we work every day to protect and respect the environment. We were the first winery in Umbria to obtain SQNPI certification for our wines, embracing sustainable agriculture with enthusiasm and conviction. We organise guided vineyard visits to discover our farming techniques and cellar visits to explore winemaking and ageing. The experience also includes tasting wines paired with traditional Umbrian specialities. It is a rounded experience for wine enthusiasts and anyone looking for an enjoyable moment combining tradition and wellbeing. We bring the same care to welcoming guests at our agriturismo, created by restoring the Chiorri family’s 19th-century farmhouse, as we do to making our wines.
