The Winery’s Story
We have a story to tell: a passion for winegrowing. La Colombiera began in the late 1970s through the vision of our grandfather Francesco Ferro. Moving from the small Sicilian town of Salemi to Liguria, he bought a small plot in La Colombiera, part of Castelnuovo Magra above the ancient city of Luni. Here he planted the first Vermentino vines, and generation after generation the estate became what it is today. It is now carefully guided by our father Piero, who tells our family’s story through every wine: a story of tradition and passion to discover with each sip.
