Visiting our reality means living an experience: it begins with a walk through the rows of the vineyard, where Mario and/or Gianluca explain the production philosophy oriented towards the organic cultivation of Cannonau and Vermentino, and continues with the recognition of some plants and shrubs typical of the Mediterranean scrub. At the end of the visit we will all have lunch together in the shade of our carob tree.
Lunch consists of a platter of typical products (pecorino cheese, sausage, bread and extra virgin olive oil and so on), a first course of malloreddus alla campidanese (a typical Sardinian pasta with sausage sauce), roast suckling pig and sheep, grilled potatoes and typical Sardinian desserts as well as obviously our white and red wines and liqueurs, all organic.
The Winery’s Story
Our Sardinian winery’s story began in the early 1920s in Barbagia. For more than 90 years, the Gregu family grew grapes and made wine for its own consumption or to sell in bulk in the village and surrounding area. Although the paths of the family and winegrowing later separated for a time, the connection with the land and wine never ended. Over time, these roots gained strength and awareness, ready to become a firm foundation for the next generation.
