The Winery’s Story
Terrazze dell’Etna began in 2008 when Nino Bevilacqua, an engineer from Palermo with a deep love of his homeland, started restoring the traditional local agricultural landscape by buying small abandoned plots overgrown with brambles. The estate lies within Etna Natural Park and climbs the volcano’s northwestern slopes. Terrazze dell’Etna was founded to express the terroir of Europe’s highest active volcano and its native grape, Nerello Mascalese. Today we export to several countries, proud to share the story of these distinctive wines.
