The Winery’s Story

It was 1970 when Valentina and Giancarlo took over what is now Azienda Agricola Valentina Cubi. Corvina, Rondinella, Corvinone and Molinara, native grape varieties from the Verona area, are grown with full respect for local winemaking traditions and a modern approach aimed at obtaining the highest quality from the vineyards. All grapes are harvested by hand. Ongoing research and the desire to respect nature led the estate to adopt a new approach to growing grapes: a move from conventional to organic farming, first tested on one plot and extended across the estate from 2010. This demanding choice aims to produce sound wines with character, quality and structure, reflecting the distinctive traits of Valpolicella’s great reds. Today, Valentina Cubi has 10 hectares of vineyards and 3 hectares of olive groves, also producing Verbasco extra virgin olive oil and spirits from Amarone and Recioto. Since 2025, the estate has had a photovoltaic installation that makes it energy self-sufficient.
