Package Description

A journey into the world of the Tonnino family to discover their wines right in the place where they take shape: Baglio Ceuso. A selection of wines produced with grapes from prized parcels of our vineyards, tasted at the end of a guided tour of the cellar. Our selections, aged in wood to enhance their character, will be accompanied by five pairings created specifically by our trusted chef using only local and seasonal products.
A perfect experience to fully discover the flavors, smells and values of our company, among international and native vines. Together with our wines we will offer you a tasting of our organic olive oil.

The Winery’s Story

Near the Piave River, in the fertile countryside around Treviso, Ca' di Rajo stands in Rai di San Polo di Piave; Rajo is the ancient name for Rai. It tells the story of winegrowers closely bound to their land. The estate is surrounded by 90 hectares of vineyards, a small church dating from the 15th century and the 10th-century Torre di Rai. Run by the Cecchetto family, the winery promotes native grapes and preserves Bellussera, an old vine-training system and distinctive form of landscape architecture. Developed in the late 19th century, it uses widely spaced plantings with wooden posts around four metres high connected by radiating wires. Once found mainly in Veneto, Bellussera is now disappearing because of its high maintenance costs: everything from pruning to harvesting is done by hand from a raised platform.
