Lunch includes an appetizer of local specialties such as salami, provolone cheese and salted ricotta, along with roasted aubergines, carrots and bruschetta with Piennolo cherry tomatoes.
For the main course, we serve artisanal spaghetti with Piennolo cherry tomato sauce and basil. Finish your meal with the famous Neapolitan pastiera made with ricotta, wheat and candied fruit. We offer vegetarian and vegan options for our guests.
History of the Cellar
"At Cantina Del Vesuvio we made a choice. A choice that has never made us rich, but makes us happy and satisfied with our work. Since 1996 we have chosen to produce only organic wine, we have chosen to stay in our territory and we have chosen only direct distribution. You will not find our wine in the supermarket, you will not find it in the restaurant or in the wine shop, you can only buy it directly in the Cellar from us or in our online shops. A difficult but sustainable choice, which allows our family to follow every phase of production and to focus on the quality of a limited production. Since 1996 we have been using organic production methods, fertilizing the sandy-volcanic soil only with organic fertilizers and treating the grapes with copper and sulfur. We have also obtained the necessary certification for the BIO brand. Our organic wine complies with the most stringent European regulations and we are also one of the few Italian companies to be approved for exporting organic wine to the United States."
