History of the Cellar
Cantina di Montalcino is a historic wine cooperative located in Montalcino, in the heart of Tuscany, famous for the production of Brunello di Montalcino. Founded in 1970, the cooperative brings together several local producers, with the aim of preserving and promoting the quality of Sangiovese, the main grape variety of this area. The winery stands out for the quality of its wines, which reflect the territory of Montalcino, characterized by an ideal microclimate and soils rich in nutrients. Among the main wines produced are Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Rosso di Montalcino DOC and Montalcino Bianco, all expressions of the local tradition. The cooperative adopts sustainable viticulture methods and is committed to practices that respect the environment. Cantina di Montalcino is also a point of reference for wine tourism, offering visits and tastings to promote the quality of its wines and the territory that produces them.
