The Winery’s Story
Mizzon’s story is rooted in a long tradition, beginning in a farmhouse dating from 1917 where the winery still stands. Here, in 1919, Attilio Mizzon began working the land, growing vegetables and fruit, raising animals and making wine with passion and dedication. After the Second World War, the family decided to concentrate on winegrowing. Giuseppe, his brother and their father developed wine production, distinguishing themselves through quality and innovation. Their dedication and results encouraged the family to invest in new vineyards in Valpolicella’s leading areas. Recognition soon followed: their Recioto, a symbol of the local winemaking tradition, won numerous awards, establishing the estate among the area’s promising producers.
