History of the Cellar
"Cantina Casale del Giglio is a winery located in Lazio, precisely in a hilly area near Latina, south of Rome. Founded in 1967 by Luigi Mezzetti, Casale del Giglio has undergone a great evolution, becoming one of the most renowned realities in the region, thanks to its dedication to quality and innovation. The winery is famous for its pioneering approach to viticulture, in particular for the introduction and promotion of international and native grape varieties. Among the most famous wines, Casale del Giglio stands out for the production of bottles from grapes such as Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, but also from native varieties such as Bellone and Malvasia Puntinata, which have become symbols of the Lazio region. The company is attentive not only to the quality of its production, but also to sustainability. The cultivation techniques are focused on respect for the environment and the use of modern agricultural practices that allow for the production of distinctive, fresh and high-quality wines. The winery produces a wide range of wines, from reds to whites, from still to sparkling wines, which have distinguished themselves in numerous national and international competitions."
