History of the Cellar
"A landscape with the silence of the Middle Ages and a cellar with a thousand years of history. A sea of woods, olive groves, vineyards, dotted with villages, parish churches, castles. High on the highest hills in the heart of Chianti Classico, the Premiata Fattoria di Castelvecchi, in Radda in Chianti, tells of centuries of tradition and a present of tenacious winemaking challenges. Here an ancient passion is cultivated, rediscovered in eleven precious crus, where old restored vineyards live and where rediscovered roots sink into the motherland of Tuscany. Here are obtained wines of great character, such as Capotondo, Lodolaio, Madonnino, Solana, awarded in Italy and in the world. Champions of those blind tastings that belong to the most sincere local tradition: appreciated by those rare connoisseurs who still feel, inside the glass, the serene beat of time."
