Package Description

Starting from the courtyard in the village of San Leonardo, we will lead you to discover our vineyards immersed in the woods and gardens that surround Villa Gresti. We will open the doors of the wine cellar and then descend into the large underground barrel cellar where the wines are refined in silence. We will let you discover the ancient monastic garden with the collection of roses and medicinal herbs and then continue with a visit to the museum and the collection of historic tractors, ending with the ancient church dedicated to the cult of San Leonardo.

Followed by a tasting of 6 wines in their current vintages.

Duration approximately 2 hours

The Winery’s Story

The Letrari family’s roots are intertwined with the history of Trentino wine. Active as early as 1647 in Borghetto d’Avio on the Adige, first as river raftsmen, then traders and innovative farmers, the family’s story reached a defining point with Leonello Letrari. His work helped the wines of the Dolomites acquire character and prestige beyond the region in the immediate post-war years. He created the first blends and began making fine sparkling wines in the 1960s. In 1976, together with his wife Maria Vittoria, he founded the present family winery.
